Born on September 12 in Lagos and hailing from Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State, NYcee is not just a singer but also a songwriter and jingle creator for American companies. Her passion for children and youth’s early talent development shines through her advocacy work, and she actively collects sanitary pads for rural Nigerian girls in collaboration with HOPe Africa USA and the Free #ProjectKosai Nigeria – #EndHungerInNigeria initiative.

She launched her professional music career in 2012 and has since garnered several awards, including Best Female Artist in Kogi State for three consecutive years (2014, 2015, and 2016). Her influence extended to her university years, where she was celebrated as the ‘Most Influential Student’ in her first year and won Best Female Artist of the school in 2019.

Aside from her musical talents, NYcee is also a skilled hair braider, a testament to her determination and resilience. In 2021, she made history as the first African artist to perform in the Safari Desert during her Dubai tour. Her international acclaim continues to grow, with an invitation to perform at the 45th Annual Kansas City Enrichment Festival in August 2024.
