Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen reportedly has a €90m release clause for a permanent move during the January transfer window, according to a report by RAI Sport.
The Nigerian international, who joined Galatasaray on loan earlier this season, had previously attracted interest from clubs like Al-Ahli, Chelsea, and PSG, although negotiations fell through during the summer.
Before his loan move, Osimhen extended his contract with Napoli until June 2027, with his release clause lowered from €130m to €75m.
However, RAI Sport journalist Ciro Venerato, via Corriere Azzurro, claims that a separate €90m clause allows Osimhen to leave Napoli in January, although it is not valid for Serie A clubs.
Juventus has been linked with a move for the 25-year-old striker, but Galatasaray vice-president İbrahim Hatipoğlu insists that Osimhen will not leave in January.
The prolific forward, who was Serie A’s top scorer in the 2022-23 season, netted his first two goals for Galatasaray in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Kasımpaşa. Osimhen scored 76 goals in 133 appearances for Napoli before his temporary move.
