Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, on Thursday, led the staff of the anti-graft agency on a walk against corruption across the country.

The anti-corruption walk, which has become a constant thing for the EFCC, took place in Abuja, where the EFCC chairman and other directors like its former spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, were in the lead.

The walk, which is to commemorate the 2024 AU Anti-corruption Day, also happened simultaneously in states like Sokoto, Benue, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Oyo States among other places.

It is usually a period the anti-graft agency uses to create awareness about the dangers of corruption in the country.

The commission staff, with members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and journalists, all participated in the exercise.

Taking to its X handle on Thursday, EFCC said Nigerians nationwide participated in the anti-corruption walk.

It wrote: “Nigerians across the nation have embarked on a Walk against Corruption this morning.
The EFCC Chair, Ola Olukoyede, leads from the front…”
