PIDOM Is In Police Custody, He Is Alive – Hundeyin

Investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, has confirmed that the missing whistleblower, PIDOM is alive and in custody, in Abuja.

Naija News had reported that PIDOM, a whistleblower who had leaked many government memos to expose corruption, was arrested by suspected agents of the federal government.

On Friday, investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, stated that police confirmed that the whistleblower is in detention at the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja.

Hundeyin said police admitted this following the intervention of the Nigerian public and some rights activists including the former presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) Omoyele Sowore.

After coming under immense pressure from the Nigerian public and an intervention involving, Omoyele Sowore, Police have confirmed that PIDOMNIGERIA is alive and well in detention at FCID Abuja.

“A member of our intervention team on the ground in Abuja physically laid eyes on him a few minutes ago and she confirmed that he is alive and well. According to the Police, he will be arraigned in court next week.

“We are requesting a copy of his charge sheet so that a bail application can be prepared.

“Nigerians must keep the pressure on so that this goalpost does not shift,” he wrote on his X handle.

Meanwhile, celebrity activist and popular disc jockey, Obianuju Ude, known as DJ Switch, has called on Nigerians to continue their online agitation for the release of PIDOM.

On her X handle, DJ Switch, one of the leaders of Endsars protest said, “PIDOM cannot be abandoned! This is the tyrannical government these bastards fought to install and defend everyday! Dear Nigeria, we cannot continue like this! These people don’t mind ruling over corpses… these people have been successfully killing our spirits, remaining our physical bodies.”
