The news about her passing was made known by a blogger, Temilola Sobola on Saturday, July 27th, 2024.

The radio station based in Abuja made this disclosure in a short statement issued on its X account on Tuesday, January 16, noting a condolence register has been opened.
The ace broadcaster reportedly died after she succumbed to the injuries she sustained from a road accident that occurred along the Abuja airport road.
