Benue North-East Senator, Emmanuel Udende, has condemned the recent attacks on Ayati, Borikyo Council Ward in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.

The attack resulted in the killing of innocent persons and destruction of properties in Sankera, Zaki-Biam and its environs.

Udende, who is Chairman, Senate Committee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes, condemned the incident in a statement on Thursday by his Media Aide Jerry Iorngaem.

He called on the angry people of Ukum to sheath their swords.
