The UK's recently elected Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has said the special relationship between the United Kingdom and United States is "stronger now than ever".
In the first ever meeting between the two men, Sir Keir was welcomed by US President Joe Biden to the Oval Office in the White House on Wednesday.
Mr Biden called the US and the UK "the best of allies" and, referring to Nato, said the UK was the "knot that ties the transatlantic alliance together, the closer you are to Europe".
