Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has assured that any projects left uncompleted by his predecessors, will be completed by his administration.
He stated this on Friday in Kurmi local government council of the state while inspecting the Mararraba – Baissa – Abong road project.
The governor, who said he has received pressure from the companies handling the projects asking for outstanding payment, said he decided to visit the project to justify any resources committed to it.
He reiterated that any projects left by his predecessors that are of interest to the people of the state will be completed.
He also explained his administration’s commitment to peace in the area to enable development to thrive.
The Mararraba – Baissa – Abong road, which is a Federal Government road, as noticed by DAILY POST, is an 82 kilometers road linking Kurmi LGA with the rest of the state.
When completed, the road, according to the governor, will facilitate socio-economic growth considering the agricultural potential and natural resources that abound in the area.
