Damagun, Anyanwu, Bature Have Turned PDP To Obituary – Dino Melaye

3 weeks ago 74

Former Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye, has once again taken a jab at some political stakeholders in the the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Recall that Melaye had earlier accused the PDP National Chairman, Iliya Damagum; the party’s National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu; and Organizing Secretary, Umar Bature of destroying the former ruling party.

Melaye said the three chieftains have irredeemably destroyed the PDP.

He also accused the PDP chieftains of commercialising and privatising the opposition party.

In a fresh launch of attack, the former gubernatorial candidate lamented that the founding fathers of the party like Alex Ekwueme, Solomon Lar, Sunday Awoniyi, Adamu Chiroma, Tony Anenih, and Abubakar Rimi would be turning in their graves over what Damagum, is doing to the party.

He noted that the former ruling party is now an obituary under the leadership of Damagum,  Anyanwu, and Bature.

Speaking via X, Melaye wrote, “PDP is the only surviving party of the 4th Republic. After 27 years of surviving all shenanigans.

“Alex Ekwueme, Solomon Lar, Sunday Awoniyi, Adamu Chiroma, Tony Anenih, Abubakar Rimi, etc will be turning in their graves seeing what Damagun, Ayanwu and Bature are doing to the dream of building a national party. PDP now, Obituary.”
