FG pledges to sustain ongoing infrastructural development nationwide

The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to sustain the ongoing infrastructural development in the country to ensure that all the geopolitical zones in the country have an enabling environment for accelerated economic development.

The Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi stated this at the ongoing stakeholders engagement meeting for the North-Central Zone, which includes Kogi, Nasarawa, and Benue.

He commended President Bola Tinubu’s innovative approach on road reconstruction and rehabilitation, which is targeted to boost industrialization for employment generation.

Senator Umahi called on all the stakeholders to support President Tinubu’s administration on the infrastructural development drives.

The Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, also commended the effort of Engr Umahi for giving attention to Abaji, Lokoja roads.

He acknowledged President Tinubu for working for the benefits of Kogi and Nigerians.

Speaking at the occasion, the Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule, commended President Tinubu for completing some projects that have been abandoned.

On his part, the Chairman, Nasarawa Council of Chiefs, Hon, Justice Sidi Muhamad recalled the confidence and trust he has in President Tinubu’s ability to deliver on good governance.

Adding that the Nasarawa State Council of Chief will continue to give the desired support to the present administration.

In his opening remarks, the director Highways Bridges and Design, Engr. Obioha Bede noted that the essence of the meeting was to expose the design and alignment on the legacy projects as it affects Kogi, Nasarawa, and Benue.
