Popular content creator, Olamide Ogunleye, aka Oluwadolarz, has said that no matter how famous or wealthy he becomes, he will always see himself as an up-and-coming talent.
Speaking in an interview with Sunday Scoop, he said, “Whenever I wake up in the morning, I choose to see myself as an up-and-coming content creator. I feel like I have not arrived yet. No matter how famous or how rich I get, I will still see myself as an up-and-coming talent. That is what pushes me to do more. The moment one feels like one has arrived, that will be the beginning of one’s downfall.”
Asked about the growth of the content creation industry, Oluwadolarz responded, “I am happy to see that the industry has gone far. Gone are the days when we used to share flyers for people to go and watch our skits. Back then, in 2010/2012, people did not understand what skit making was. But, these days, many people don’t watch TV anymore. They just go online to watch skits and other videos. I am happy that the industry has grown.”
The skit maker also advised talents who wished to get into the industry to get their priorities right. According to him, if they were motivated by fame and fortune, they would end up being tired and frustrated.
